School Bus Driver Defensive Driving

  School bus drivers face a special set of problems and rules due to the cargo that they carry.  

  This course applies to any driver of a bus and can be taken in a four, six or eight hour time block.  A bus is defined as any vehicle that carries passengers that are not family members.  New rules are also being enforced for church bus drivers.  The 50+ topics of our 8-hour DDC have been screened and modified for the job of school bus driver.  Additional topics have been added specific to a school bus and student passengers.

  Individual topics can also be presented as 1-hour Safety Briefings.

  These classes, when used in fleets, result in a dramatic drop in crash incidents.
